Terms and Conditions - Colorology
By submitting an application for consultant access to the Colorology app, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for consultant access, you must meet one of the following criteria:
1. A graduate of a recognized image or color consulting training program.
2. An enrolled student or graduate of the International Image Institute.
3. An established consultant in the color analysis or image consulting field, with proof of business credentials, such as a website, or active social media page which showcases a current client portfolio and bookable service offerings.
Proof of eligibility will be required for all applicants, including established consultants. Applications may be denied if sufficient proof is not provided.
If you do not meet the eligibility criteria, your application may not be approved. You can reapply once the eligibility requirements have been met.
Use of Colorology App
As a consultant, you will have access to various features within the Colorology app, including but not limited to, the ability to share palettes with clients and earn commissions on client palette purchases.
Consultants are prohibited from using the Colorology app for resale of products or services without prior written permission from the International Image Institute Inc.
Commission and Payments
Once your Stripe Connect account is successfully linked to the app, you will be eligible to earn commissions on palette purchases made by your clients. Payments will be processed through the Stripe Connect platform.
Commissions are based on sales made via your unique sharing link and are subject to Stripe’s processing fees.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes on commissions earned.
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
As a consultant, you agree to keep all information shared through the Colorology app confidential.
You agree not to alter, modify, or distribute any intellectual property, including but not limited to the color palettes, app features, and materials provided by the International Image Institute and Colorology app.
Account Termination
The International Image Institute Inc. and Colorology reserves the right to suspend or terminate your consultant access at any time, without notice or cause, including but not limited to the following reasons:
- You violate these terms and conditions.
- You engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.
- You misuse the Colorology app or its resources.
Upon termination, you will lose access to the consultant features of the Colorology app, including access to palettes, commissions, and any associated content.
Liability
The International Image Institute Inc. is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Colorology app, including loss of business or data, or any third-party claims.
By applying for consultant access, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the International Image Institute Inc. from any claims, losses, or damages related to your use of the app.
Modification of Terms
The International Image Institute Inc. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to consultants via email or through an update on the Colorology app.
Continued use of the Colorology app after changes to the Terms and Conditions are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
